Renew, Recycle, Refresh for Spring!  “Play with Product” Seminars

 Using the newest, lowest VOC water-based products available from the Country Living Artisans Collection of decorative finishes by Caromal Colours, the experts with 3 Oaks Studio will show you how easy and fun it can be to transform your living space - including walls, furniture, cabinets and most anything around your home.  Learn how to renew and save old family treasures or new garage sale finds.      

During their seminars at the 2010 Fresno Home and Garden Show, you get a chance to play with the paint everybody is talking about. Get a feel for their plaster and glazing material and see how quickly they can take a wall from flat to fabulous. Learn about gold, silver, and copper leaf and how the simple process of gilding can change everyday objects to wonderful treasures!  See how easy it is to add decorative touches to walls, cabinets, furniture, etc., with their unique self- sticking stencils and one-of-a-kind stencils you custom order yourself.  Customize your entire home or a few treasured pieces. The possibilities are endless.  Even if you have never attempted anything creative before, you can do this!! 

Located in the Agriculture Building (#2), the Renew, Recycle, Refresh for Spring seminars will include a glimpse into each of the following studio workshops:

Distressed for Success:  Add character and aging to furniture, cabinets, accessories and architectural elements. Refresh your tired cabinets and furniture with a new color and technique.  

All That Glitters Is:  Add the beauty of metal leaf to walls, furniture, cabinets or accessories.  We make this a seasonal workshop, so for spring they will be gilding Easter Eggs for you to take home! Then take what you have learned in class and transform your own space.

Perfect Plaster:  Take your walls from flat to fabulous, or worn to wonderful with their Perfect Plaster. Create unique textured effects on walls and even furniture!

Glazy Days:  Enhance any painted surface with this translucent, easy to use glaze and a variety of everyday tools to create interesting textured looks to your walls.

Stenciling:  “In Your Own Words”. Create any saying, poem and quote in any size and any font for walls, furniture, cabinets and accessories.

Self Stick Stencils:  Easily create pattern and design anywhere using our unique, self- sticking reusable stencils.
