Our all natural dog biscuits, Dogs Dig'em, are being made by women who have decided to change their lives in a positive direction, and have recovered from substance abuse and homelessness.

Making and baking Dogs Dig'em treats is a vehicle for these women to become more self-reliant, learn work skills and education and to find employment. Quite Simply - The women receive work skills, your dog gets tasty healthy treats and you get the opportunity to help your community. We all benefit when we help the people in need in our own community!

History of the Saint Francis Homeless Project

Saint Francis Homeless Project, Inc (SFHP) was founded in 2010 by Tom and Sandra Kaye. The Kaye's wanted to offer women in recovery a second chance at creating a rewarding, self-sufficient life. They learned of an organization in Kansas that was baking all natural dog treats as a work skills program. They decided to bring that program to Fresno. Through much trial and error the SFHP has flourished and the dog treats are being sold to over 111 retailers. All proceeds go bakc to the program to help finance the expenses.

SFHP receives candidates from West care of California after all women have gone through they're in-patient and out-patient programs. The 10 women that are elected to join SFHP work and education program have made a decision to improve their lives and make a change.

SFHP trains in the culinary kitchen at the Institute of Technology in Clovis. The students learn work skills like baking, sales and marketing. They are also responsible for distribution and packaging.

The women who have graduated the program have found jobs, housing and purchased cars as well as gone back to school. They have achieved confidence and hope for the future.
