Fresno Shows strives to make your Home and Garden Show experience a pleasant and profitable one. Join us in 2013 - MARCH 1, 2, and 3, at the Big Fresno Fairgrounds - for our 27th annual event! (In 2012, our attendance was over 32,000 - one of the highest attended three day consumer shows in California). Fresno Shows promotes three (3) shows a year, and all are held at the Fresno Fairgrounds, the only facility in the area large enough to accommodate even our smallest production.

MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENTS
In order to maintain a secure environment during event set up and tear down, Fresno Home Shows requires ALL personnel who are present on the Fresno Fairgrounds, either working at or assisting with the set up or tear down of a booth/display area…
TO HAVE IDENTIFICATION THAT CONNECTS THEM TO A COMPANY REGISTERED AS A PARTICIPANT IN THE 2013 FRESNO HOME AND GARDEN SHOW.
UPON REQUEST, ALL PERSONNEL WILL BE REQUIRED TO SHOW VALID IDENTIFICATION TO ANY POLICE OFFICER OR EVENT/FAIRGROUNDS REPRESENTATIVE.
An individual who is not known to Fresno Fairgrounds / Fresno Home Shows management, or who cannot provide management and/or Fresno PD with the required company identification, will be immediately escorted off of the fairgrounds and will not be allowed to return until appropriate identification has been acquired and presented to Fresno PD and/or home show management.
There will be no exceptions to this policy. Furthermore, at the end of each set up day, and at the end of Sunday tear down, NO ONE will be permitted to remain in the buildings or on grounds.

PARTICIPATING EXHIBITORS -
ALL COMPANIES PLANNING TO PARTICIPATE IN THE 2013 FRESNO HOME AND GARDEN SHOW MUST HAVE A SIGNED CONTRACT ON FILE AT LEAST FOUR (4) WEEKS PRIOR TO THE SHOW. SIGNING A CONTRACT DURING CHECK-IN IS NO LONGER AN OPTION.
IMPORTANT - VIP PASS GUIDELINES
A limited quantity of VIP (free entry) passes are made available to local merchants as a marketing tool, i.e., to thank current customers or to reach out to potential clients. They are not to be given out by the hand-full, passed out at any fairgrounds entry gate or parking lot any time during the 2013 Home and Garden Show, nor are they to be sold anywhere or under any circumstances. Any merchant and/or company representative found disregarding the above will immediately be escorted from the show and will not be asked back to a Fresno Shows production.
VERY IMPORTANT - CHECK-IN POLICY
Please note - CHECK-IN is different from SET-UP.
As per the contract and other notices sent, we may cancel any merchant who has not checked-in at a show office at the Fresno Fairgrounds by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 28th, 2013, unless that merchant has contacted Fresno Shows management and received prior permission to check-in after the 2/28/13, 5 p.m. cut off. NO EXCEPTIONS. Additionally, a merchant requesting late check-in must be paid-in-full and have a signed 2013 contract on file. ALL REGULAR CHECK-IN WILL END AT 5 P.M. ON THURSDAY, 2/28/13. BOOTH SET-UP CONTINUES UNTIL 10 P.M. CALL 559-251-9051 FOR THE FAIRGROUNDS SHOW OFFICE.
THERE IS NO SET-UP ON FRIDAY, MARCH 1, 2013. THIS YEAR'S SHOW WILL OPEN AT 11:00 A.M. ON FRIDAY.

The hotel listed below is recommend for exhibitors while attending the show; we have arranged a "merchant discount" with them. TO QUALIFY FOR THE REDUCED RATES, YOU MUST MENTION THAT YOU ARE A MERCHANT IN THE 2013 HOME AND GARDEN SHOW.

RV Hookups
Merchants with RVs can book space (most are full hookup) at the Fresno Fairgrounds. The number of spots are limited and are assigned on a first come, first served basis. Contact the fairgrounds administrative office, 559-650-3358, to make a reservation. (THE FRESNO HOME AND GARDEN SHOW CANNOT MAKE RV SPACE RESERVATIONS).

(The fairgrounds forklift is available TO RENT (please review your Final Instructions for cost) on Wednesday and Thursday, from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., for small loads. Any company with excessive merchandise to unload MUST provide it's own forklift. If there is a question as to the size of the load, Show Management will make the determination. If you need a forklift after hours or during a day other than those mentioned above, you must make those arrangements).
NO SET UP ON FRIDAY, MARCH 1, 2013. NO VEHICLES ARE ALLOWED ON THE FAIRGRONDS. YOU MAY CARRY OR HAND-TRUCK ITEMS ONTO THE FAIRGROUNDS. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Show Hours (open to public)
Friday, 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. (Buildings are open to merchants between 8 a.m. and 7:15 p.m.)
Saturday, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. (Buildings are open to merchants between 8 a.m. and 7:15 p.m.)
Sunday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. (Buildings are open to merchants between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m.)
Exhibit Tear-Down
SHOW POLICY - No merchant may tear down and/or begin removing product/equipment before the ADVERTISED 6 p.m. Sunday closing time. If a company is observed violating this policy, it will be fined $100. If the fine is not paid, then that company will not be invited back to ANY Fresno Shows production. (Over the years we've had several complaints from both merchants and attendees, and have experienced several near-miss situation between a vendor and a family attending the show).
