The 1st Annual Floral Art Competition will be held Friday, March 5th, 2010, at the Fresno Fairgrounds!
The new Floral Art Competition is being introduced as part of the 2010 Fresno Home Show, and is designed to showcase the artistry of Central Valley floral shops and to promote the local flower industry. The theme of the competition is “open”, so the florist/arranger can use their imagination and really spotlight their artistic talents. Judging will be held Friday, March 5th, 2010, just prior to the opening of the Fresno Home and Garden Show. Our AIFD certified judges, Pam Woertendyke and Kimberly Woertendyke-Alvarez, owners of A Secret Garden, will definitely have their work cut out for them.
Winners will receive cash prizes and ribbons. Information about this year’s participants will be posted on the Fresno Shows website, www.fresnoshows.com.

1st Place - Christopher Brazil, The Ramblin' Rose Florist
