Wine Tasting with Appellation California  

We are very happy to welcome the folks with Appellation California Wine Tasting & Visitors Center as hosts of our wine tasting feature during the show. Visit them at the AppCal Tent, located at the south end of the fairgrounds near the Butler Gate.

Appellation California (ApCal) is your one-stop shop for LOCAL wine. With over 20 LOCAL wineries represented, you are sure to find something to your liking at ApCal. They only pour wines produced or sourced in the Central San Joaquin Valley – so every ApCal wine you taste and buy is supporting local wine grape growers and local winemakers! ApCal is conveniently located on Hwy 99 & Aveune 7, just two miles north of Herndon Avenue, and is open 7 days a week from 11am to 6pm. In addition to delicious local wines, the company offers a wide variety of local dried fruits, nuts, jelly, olives, honey, oils and gift baskets, in addition to great wine gifts and gourmet foods. Their beautiful Spanish Colonial style tasting room, built in the 1920s, makes the perfect venue for weddings, corporate events, charity fundraisers, class reunions, etc. The new Banquet Room can accommodate up to 40 guests, while their lush gardens can easily host over 500 guests. ApCal is the only Wine Tasting Room in the Valley that offers only LOCAL wines!
